I attach particular importance to aesthetic dentistry in conjunction with proactive, individual planning tailored to my patient’s needs. Therefore, I invest a lot of time in the diagnosis and following consultation for each patient. My primary goal is a tooth-friendly, tooth-preserving and minimally invasive therapy which considers the individual aesthetics and needs of my patients. As the only dentist in central Switzerland I am certified for the aesthetic treatment with Lumineers (wafer-thin, non-prep., custom-made sheets of laminated ceramic, which are positioned over the existing teeth to create a beautiful smile).

Being committed to excellence towards my patients, I place the highest demands on my treatment results. My areas of specialization besides to aesthetic dentistry (porcelain veneers, all-ceramic inlays and partial crowns), restorative dentistry (dentures), implantology, periodontics (gum disease – periodontitis), oral surgery (wisdom tooth extraction) also endodontics (tooth-preserving root canal treatment) and conservative dentistry (aesthetic, tooth-colored fillings).

For more than two decades, I have viewed dentistry as the combination of highest precision, innovative technology and truly individual patient care. After completing my dental studies at Ulm University, I consistently pursued further specialisation and obtained three master’s degrees in Implantology, CAD/CAM-supported Dentistry as well as Implantology & Periodontology. This extensive education forms the foundation of my daily work at the highest professional level.

Through many years of experience as a dentist in my own practice and as a leading and managing dentist in renowned dental centres in Germany and Switzerland, I have gained extensive expertise in treating even the most complex cases. My focus lies on comprehensive and individually tailored treatment concepts – ranging from precise immediate restorations to advanced implantological full-mouth rehabilitations such as All-on-4.

An important part of my treatment philosophy is the biological support of healing. For many years, I have been working with PRF technology (Platelet-Rich Fibrin), which activates the body’s own regenerative processes and contributes to gentler treatments and faster healing.

In the field of CAD/CAM prosthetics, I rely on modern digital solutions to achieve highly precise and aesthetic results. In periodontology, my focus is on the long-term stability of oral health.

I successfully completed my studies in dentistry at Julius Maximilian University of Würzburg and received my license to practice as a dentist in 2012. Since then, I have gained extensive experience in various fields of modern dentistry over many years – both in clinical practice and in running my own dental practice.

My areas of expertise include restorative dentistry, endodontics, periodontology, implantology, prosthetics and oral surgery. A particular focus of my work lies in careful diagnostics, individually tailored treatment concepts and long-lasting results.

For me, dentistry means not only treating people in the short term, but accompanying them throughout their lives in maintaining their oral health – with precision, empathy and an uncompromising commitment to outstanding results.

After completing my studies at the West German Jaw Clinic of Heinrich Heine University Düsseldorf and several years of clinical experience in the Lake Constance region, I am delighted to now bring my expertise to Zahnklinik Luzern. It is especially important to me that every patient – including anxious patients – feels understood, comfortable and well cared for. I take the time needed for thorough diagnostics, transparent consultations and individually structured treatment planning.

My areas of focus include aesthetic dentistry (veneers, all-ceramic restorations and aesthetic anterior restorations), reconstructive prosthodontics (telescopic dentures and removable prosthetics), aligner therapy using clear aligners for the correction of misaligned teeth in adults, modern endodontics (root canal treatments), periodontology (treatment of gum disease) as well as oral surgery, including the removal of complex impacted wisdom teeth and bone augmentation procedures.

The consistent use of digital workflows – from intraoral scanner-based diagnostics to computer-assisted treatment planning – allows for highly precise and minimally invasive treatments at the highest level.

Already in 2016, I spent an entire year working full-time alongside master dental technicians – an experience that continues to shape my treatment philosophy to this day. Close collaboration with the dental laboratory is, in my view, one of the most essential factors for successful treatment – the point where medicine meets craftsmanship.

Especially in the context of longevity, freedom from oral inflammation and optimal chewing function are essential for overall health and quality of life. My ongoing doctoral research at the Department of Neuroimmunology at the University Hospital Bonn reflects my commitment to staying at the forefront of scientific knowledge for the benefit of my patients. I also consider regular national and international continuing education indispensable.

I have successfully completed my studies in 2000. Afterwards I successfully completed a postgraduate degree in orthodontics after 2 years in Sao Paulo, Brazil. Further dental trainings at the Universities of Berne and Basel followed. In July 2016 I started at the Dental Clinic Lucerne. My strengths include empathy and thoroughness.
